The Palo Alto office of Squire Sanders is widely recognized for its international work including both business and litigation. The Silicon Valley offices has also cultivated an extensive US practice supporting software, hardware and electronics companies in developing international and information technology sectors. Key practice areas include intellectual property issues involving patent prosecution, licensing and litigation, and corporate legal services ranging from structural organization to financing.

With a typical summer associate to lawyer ratio of one to six, the Palo Alto office provides you an exciting atmosphere in which to develop your individual interests.The program is structured to expose law students to a work environment similar to that of our first-year associates and includes regular feedback, written evaluations and training programs.

Summer associate positions for the Palo Alto office are highly competitive and usually reserved for second-year law students. However, first-year law students are considered on a case-by-case basis. The Palo Alto summer programs lasts seven weeks.

Summer associate compensation is competitive with the local market.
