ABA Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity 2010 Spirit of Excellence Award

The American Bar Association Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Profession honored former US Representative and Squire Sanders senior counsel, Louis Stokes, with a 2010 Spirit of Excellence Award. Representative Stokes was selected for his dedication to ensuring racial and ethnic diversity in the legal profession.

After accepting his award, he took the time to make a few remarks recognizing the long way the profession has come, but encouraging lawyers to do more to advance the cause of diversity in the profession.
